My real love first and foremost is my creativity, and whilst I adore swimming it is the opportunities to combine the two that drive me. It feels a real privilege to be able to offer these photographic shoots and share my passion for taking portraits in the water.
Starting before you arrive with helpful advice on what kit to bring, including what to wear in the water and what to wear out of the water (this can make a difference!), we'll head up into the mountains to some of the best locations for photography, based on the weather conditions on the day. Afterwards, you will receive approx. 20 edited HI-RES digital files that are yours to use and print as you wish. If you would like me to organise prints for you, this can be done at an extra charge.
"I fell in love with how I felt in the water. How water made women feel and how I could invite the viewer to be a voyeur. A voyeur in a secret performance that took place in privacy, below the surface of a mountain lake. I liked the juxtaposition of the rugged mountains, the baron plateaus, the perceived wilderness and the pure blissed-out serenity I saw in my images. A glimpse of flesh, a brief streak of colour in the darkness, came to represent strength and indulgence in what could be, at times a challenging environment."
We will start and finish the day in either Llanberis or Capel Curig, near Betws-y-Coed, where we will go will depend on the weather conditions, but it will be in the nearby mountain areas. We will be in the mountains for either a morning or an afternoon. It is aimed at both men and women and is offered on a one-to-one or one-to-two basis. If you would like to come in a family group or are looking for a commercial photo shoot please ask me to quote you costs.

This is where art and nature unite to create stunning underwater portraits that feel like they’re from a dream.
We’ll start by easing into the water, ensuring you feel comfortable, confident and acclimatised. Natural light will stream through the surface, creating rippling patterns and soft hues that create an ethereal effect in our natural studio space.
Each shoot is an adventure—a moment of connection with nature and a chance to create images that transcend the ordinary. Surrounded by majestic mountain views and the stillness of the lake, I'm sure the experience will be as unforgettable as the images we create.

ABOUT ME
I am an artist, outdoor swimmer and health and fitness coach. I live in the hills of North Wales with my partner, AJ and our little dog Bella. I grew up on the beautiful South Coast in the New Forest and regularly return to visit family.
My project #swimsnowdonia was listed amongst 'The 10 most inspiring adventures' in The Guardian and has been the focus of several short films including a music video for the band Elbow. 'Afterglow' a short film about my passion for both my creativity and cold water swimming won Best Woman in Adventure Gold Award at Sheffield Adventure Film Festival., Best Short Film at The Four Season Film Festival and was recently selected for The Patagonia Film Festival in Santa Monica. I was included in the first San Miguel Rich List, 'a unique list of men and women who value experiences over any possession' and listed as one of Britain's 101 Adventurers. I was featured in an ITV documentary 'The Mountain ' which followed the lives of a selection of people who live and work on the busiest mountain in England and Wales, Snowdon and various features on the BBC, ITV, Sky Sports and Channel 5.
I am a Qualified Teacher, Personal Trainer, Nutritional Advisor, Sports Massage Therapist, Mountain Leader, Open Water Swimming Coach, RLSS Open Water Lifeguard, RYA Day Skipper and hold RYA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Offshore Theory. I hold Emergency First Aid in the Outdoors, Level 3 Exercise Referral, STA Level 2 Swimming Teacher Award and Certificate, and STA Level 2 Baby & Pre-School Aquatic Teacher. I am an RLSS Trainer and have more than 10 previous years of experience lifesaving in swimming pools.
