The Gwynant valley remains one of my favourite places in the mountains, to climb high, look back in awe at the massif of Snowdon, to bathe in the cool valley waters, to lose yourself amongst the lush green bracken of summer.
Taking inspiration from the mountains of Snowdonia, where I have spent many, many years absorbed in the mist, the moody shadows, walking for hours with damp feet, scouring maps searching for bodies of water to swim, this is an original drawing created during this prolonged period away from the mountain lakes.
