Nestled on the flanks of Moel Siabod, the twin lakes of Diwaunydd (Oaken Lakes) are tucked away in the shadows, smothered in the mist, surrounded by trees.
Taking inspiration from the mountains of Snowdonia, where I have spent many, many years absorbed in the mist, the moody shadows, walking for hours with damp feet, scouring maps searching for bodies of water to swim, this is an original drawing created during this prolonged period away from the mountain lakes.
Signed on the front, signed and dated on the back.
